A watermelon pink lucknowi chikankari kurta material, crafted in luxurious cotton. The chikankari kurta fabric has elaborate jaal all over front and sprinkled chikankari floral bootis all over back. The fabric is extremely light-weight and skin-friendly.
The lakhnavi kurta is adorned with complex stitches of Bakhiya, Phanda and Keelkangan and also extensively exhibits the rare stitches of Jaali.
Good quality jaali chikankari work is getting extinct from the market as the
stitches of jaali are very complex and time consuming. We are working towards
reviving and sustaining these dying stitches by means of fair wages and
healthy work environment for our artisans.
